It is possible to drive your car from the bedroom to the front of the hotel which has a designated disabled parking bay. The rooms in the garden are well lit and quiet.

Four rooms are in the little Norfolk cottage annexe which is 25 yards from the front of the main hotel over a gravel driveway. Guests may drive to their bedroom from the reception to load and unload luggage but the disabled parking for these rooms is at the front of the hotel. Pet dogs are permitted to sleep in one these bedrooms.

Dog beds, bowls, towels, poly bags and walking maps are provided. Our grounds extend to 1 acre, so exercise is available, but we respectfully ask dog owners to take great care to clean up after their pets and to keep pets on their leads at all times.

We can supply a wheelchair, if required, for use during your holiday.

All rooms are equipped with direct dial telephone for outside calls, or to the main hotel which has night service cover for emergencies. The Shepherds Huts do not currently have direct dial telephones. Telephone numbers for the local Doctor, Vet etc. are available from Reception. The mobile phone network in this area can be unreliable.

Titchwell RSPB Reserve is ideal for visitors. The path through the reserve is well maintained with regular benches and is 1km from the visitor’s centre to the sea. On the beach is a deck area ideal for relaxing and watching the sea. Along the pathway are hides, viewing points and feed stations all equipped for disabled use.
